The week before Midsummer week, I traveled to Austin for a Briefing at IBM Executive Center in Austin. I had the opportunity to walk in the center of Austin. The downtown and center was not as I was used to from other US citys, there was bars, restaurants and shopping in the middle of the town, and there was paths to walk on 🙂 Anyway I could not resist this and have to walk around and try to take some photographs, even though it was 104F (40 C) in the shadows! Anyway I manage to walk couple of hours but the heat made me not to take many photographs.

This little fellow were siting and had a nut to eat, he was not afraid at all, and I’ll guess they are used to people

If you want to see the rest of the photographs, take a look at here, thanks for the visit!

The second weekend in April, I traveled back to Jönköping for a 25-years re-union with my classmates from the elementary school. The evening (and night) was a blast and we all had very fun. I’m looking forward to the next re-union.

The day after I had some time to kill, my bus back did not leave until 3 p.m and I planned for a photo walk. 7 a.m, I went up and walked thru the city and capture some part of the inner city and for me, new buildings. I had time to walk in the outer part of the city as well. I must say, Jönköping have really changed the city in a positive way. One part that was really nice, the coffee bars and restaurants along the water in Munksjön. I think it was a good decision to make the bridge over Munksjön to make some space for the buildings at northern part of Munksjön.

This Week I’ve been in Gothenburg and hade a wonderful conference and got a lot of information and impressions. As usually I try to go out early in the morning to photograph the surroundings at the places I visit or stay at. We ware at the beautiful Stenungsbaden at Stenungsunds, just outside Gothenburg. Here is one photograph that shows how cold it was this morning.
